I used the original plastic packaging for a year before finding this on Amazon. The price is good at around 8 dollars and it certainly protects the unit. The only criticism I have is that the zipper is very flimsy and I have to be very careful when opening and closing the case. I do not expect that it will last the life of the Tom Tom it is supposed to protect.
I bougth it for 330 XL. I wish it would be big enough to fit wire, plug and the suction cup. it fit the unit perfectly. if you try really hard, you can really jam it in with the suction cup. Overally, I am satisfy with this product. it protects the GPS and with good price.

This case does its job. Protects my tomtom well and fits the glove compartment.
Even though I gave this case as a Xmas gift, I can say that it has been greatly appreciated by my father (the recipient). Since my father uses his TomTom Go 730 mostly for work to make service calls throughout CT, NY, and MA, he often finds himself parking in unfamiliar and often unsecured areas. This simple case allows him to pack away his new TomTom in his tool kit without fear of damaging the device.It is a great accessory for anyone with a TomTom Go 730, and Amazon provided superb service, especially in getting it to me on time.
